Crowns are generally tooth coloured and traditionally have been made in a dental laboratory. This process requires two separate appointments and a temporary crown between preparation and insert.
Advances in modern dental materials and techniques have allowed DI Dental Implant Centre dentists to use digital CEREC CAD/CAM technology, which allows for designing and milling of the crown on-site. This allows our patients to have their crown on the same day. It also allows our dentists create more natural-looking smiles and repair teeth that several years ago may not have been able to be saved – all in one day.
